Cherry angiomas are also known by other names, such as simply cherry red skin papules/moles, Campbell de Morgan spots, cherry hemangioma, capillary angioma and senile angiomas [2]. In the most cases, doctors are choosing to leave the cherry angiomas alone because usually they are non – cancerous and they are not harmful. Cherry Angioma is skin growth made up of small blood vessels or capillaries. It is a benign non- cancerous tumor, that results from an overgrowth of blood capillaries and abnormal proliferation of skin cells and when the blood vessels break, the bright red color of cherry angioma is the result.
